unlock HDFC bank a/c and re-enable netbanking

So many passwords to remember these days... ooofff !!!!!

Many a times it so happens that you enter a wrong password consecutively 5 times at the HDFC bank Netbanking site & your account gets locked. Now you have 2 problems - your NetBanking access locked out & also that you have forgotten your password. The Banks standard procedure calls for filling an application form at the Branch to re-enable your account & also re-generate a new password.

I have discovered a simple workaround with which you use the power of Net to both re-enable your account & re-generate a new password.
The procedure is as follows -

1. Visit https://www.hdfcbank.com/applications/webforms/customersupport/mainfrm.htm & select the Radio Button "I am a customer of the bank and have a query / Clarification on a transaction / Product".
2. Now under the section "What is the query about?" section select "Assistance with NetBanking Service".
3. Now under the section "Kindly classify your request:" select "Access Denied - Enable access to NetBanking" & then click on submit.
4. In the following screen fill up all your details - Customer ID, First Name, Last Name, E-mail ID.
5. Now comes the most important trick - select the check box "Yes I remember my IPIN and just need re-activation of the same.". Though this may sound funny, since you don't remeber your IPIN (NetBanking Password), but do this as suggested by me. And then click submit.
6. After almost 24 hours visit the NetBanking page & under the "Whats New" section on the right hand side, click on the link for "Forgot Your IPIN (password), click here to generate instantly".
7. Now just follow the steps & re-generate a new IPIN.

Simple... isn't it ? So never ever worry again if you have a locked HDFC Bank NetBanking account & have forgotten your password :)

Open letter to PM of India Dr.Singh on 63rd Republic Day 2012

Sir,

I was alarmed to read that your government wants to increase price of diesel and cars running on it let me give you my take on this:

        I.            Diesel cars help us commute to areas where there is no public transport and they are cheaper to run if you are travelling long distrance

      II.            I work in greater Noida travel 64 km to work why:-          

a.       Worried if I keep my family in greater Noida what can happen to them

b.      Power problems

c.       There is no public transport if I need to go to railway station or my wife is travelling to her home town

d.      There are no good public hospital and pvt ones are not good at all

    III.            If you increase price of diesel bus train and food prices will hit the roof

    IV.            What is the good of earning any money if everything is priced out of my reach.

      V.            What is sad this all is happening after I got married if I was unmarried I would have left my job joined some organization to help liberate India after all on this 63 republic day:

a.       I cannot get even an FIR registered without running pillar to post

b.      My boss can abuse me and get away though I am white collared worker

c.       I joined pvt sector means I am paid less than Government and there is no social security

d.      There are no additional benefits like housing etc so while a Govt. servant pays 1000 for a house I pay 14,000 and then too face problems.

    VI.            If you want people to use less of their car I am one who would love to but where is the public transport system.

  VII.            Have you seen rush hour in metro.

VIII.            You will never have guts to travel by it I am willing to but is there a metro in Greater Noida.

    IX.            Ever been to Agra seen the infrastructure where is public transport there.

      X.            When you talk about privatization  its become an excuse to fleece people example:

a.       DND for years people are paying to use it to reach Noida the alternative roads are broken

b.      Gurgaon toll plaza you have to pay to reach it and get in huge line

c.       Noda expressway even this free road is becoming toll road

d.      Any national highway

    XI.            If you look at the above I wonder what will higher excise duty give us better roads no all national highways roads are owned by pvt sector and one has to pay to use them.

  XII.            For moving around NCR one has to pay to use the roads what are we paying road tax for I really do not know

XIII.            I am told you are educated but then why do you forget the American war for independence started because of taxation without representation I today would want to know why am I paying toll and for what.

XIV.            Why are there no parking spots.

  XV.            Why do children do not have benches to study in the national capital of India

XVI.            Why justice has become a prostitute who sleeps with the rich of this nation.

XVII.            Why is every clerk in government a billionaire while we who slog get poorer

XVIII.            Why the rich escape everytime and the poor get the boot

XIX.            Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, where knowledge is free… why are these words only a dream

  XX.            Why do I have to complain to you for my UID card though I was enrolled in july 2011 yet even today the card has not reached me

XXI.            Why can this nation not have grievance system that works

XXII.            Why can the victims not be treated with respect by police

XXIII.            Why can ahemdis be stopped by shahi imam of Jama Majid from talking about their religion and this be done because ahemdis are minority why there are many Sunni moslem

XXIV.            Why can one not talk about religion without getting beaten up by Thugs from Moslem or Hindu gangs

XXV.            Why can congress only talk of freedom never give freedom of expression.

There are so many whys do you or this government have answer to any of them. I have voted for your government due to RTI being passed for last 3 elections inclusing state election. This time I will not vote for you because of the sheer number of questions and the frustration I face. I can not buy a house but a clerk in MCD can own multiple. Do not know why my father was an honest officer and why I used to believe in honesty it certainly does not pay to be honest.

Look at you my school teacher used to give your example but look where Sonia Gandhi has brought you

Love and life

only thing certain in life is death. The only truth is death yet we fear it. It comes like a lover unannounced and many a man has yearned for her kiss. She is the lover that we fear for the passion will carry us away from our loved ones. Death is a bride that every man must marry. Yet we all are scared of her love. She comes when she wants and on her terms is there a woman more headstrong. She is the lover unchallenged and supreme to her wishes we must all bow for love they say is very strong and it's an intoxication that saints and sinner both are addicted to. It spares nether the King not the poor.


Death is a very fair lover she come and goes at her terms she bring hales and tempest most hate her but still fall prey to her charm. She is the fire that eats souls of all moths as they rush to their lover and get burned in the fire. Has any seen truer lover then one sees when one meets death. You leave all that you love and rush in her arms forgetting loves of a life time. I have never seen this temptress but like many will meet her. Lucky is the man who meets her at his terms. For she is the most fickle lover. She is the perfect arranged match the one you have to go with because she is the chosen one. Passion love and other follow you have to go with her she is the perfect matriarchal society for she takes her husband with her leaving nothing in place. But then she has a fine I for women too an no beauty has escaped her eye no matter how rich or powerful she might be.

Death is time and she come to all living and unloving to statues of king, dictator , pop or even to Gods own son. She is the reality of time sand and space. Unfortunate will be one who passes her embrace for she is a very faithful lover. He who miss her is destined to follow life seeing his loved leave him one by one. That is the curse of immortality till now vampires and ungodly creatures have it. The other people who have this are god of Olympus and a might sad bunch they are fighting petty battles and belittling their own kind. I would much rather be with my bride Death where ever she chooses to meet me. But I am young and I still hope to meet her at my terms and not hers for they say youth is foolish does not know its limit. I have not known mine and I shall not know mine for I have my soul and a God I trust. Cruel he might be in sending adversaries to me. But I have not shown him my back and I will fight no for I am man his greatest creature. Undefeated I stand proud against his cruel desires which he calls fate. I will rage on and fight on and I fear not falling for I am man not God he should fear falling for his Angel is now called Devil because like me he fell. But I rose again like phoenix while the angle called devil still rules over hell but not over my heart.

I get ready to fight fate and meet death on my own and not her terms for I am man Gods greatest creation..............
